Commonly asked questions about Zion Reformed Church

Where are you located?

We are located near the corner of 36th Street and Canal in Grandville at 4457 36th Street.

What Should I Wear?

We’re more concerned with you as a person and your spiritual and relational needs than what you wear. Dress up or dress casually, either way you’ll fit in.

What do I do when I get inside the church?

The main doors used on Sunday are located on the North and West side of the building and are labeled as doors ‘C’ and ‘D’. When you enter the building, you will be greeted near the door and those greeters would be happy to direct you toward our sanctuary, nursery, or children’s ministry areas.

What is available for my kids?

Your children, from birth to 12th grade will be well taken care of at Zion. We offer nursery during both worship and Sunday school for children ages 0-3 yrs. For children age 3 yrs old to 3rd grade we offer a wonderful worship opportunity designed just for them during church (children are dismissed about 15 minutes into the service after a short children’s message).  These children should be signed in prior to church beginning. The sign-in station can be found in the back of the sanctuary. After church, we have Sunday school classes for all ages.

What Can I Expect?

You can expect a modern, friendly church that is focused on creating an environment where you can connect with Christ in a real and relevant way. Our music is contemporary, but we love to sing old hymns at times as well.

Are there other ministries?

There are many ways to serve within the church. Please contact us for more detailed information or see any of the ministry area links for additional ministry opportunities.

Is there a place where I can meet the Pastors and learn about the church?

If you would like more information regarding the church mission and ministries, please contact one of our pastors and they will be happy to talk with you about  the mission and vision of the church. In addition, we offer a Discovering Zion class 3 times a year on 3 successive Sunday mornings, these classes start on the first Sunday in October, February, and May.
