PRAYER REQUEST:  Our youth and their leaders left at 4:30AM this morning for Washington DC. Pray that they will grow closer to God and each other as they spend the week serving in the community. Pray that those that they encounter throughout the week will see God’s love through their actions.

WE EXPRESS our sympathy to the family of Betty DeVries. Betty went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 6. Burial will be private.

PLEASE JOIN us in prayer as delegates from across our denomination, the Reformed Church in America, gather from June 13-18 in Arizona for the annual General Synod meetings. Pastor Marcia will be attending Synod as a delegate on behalf of the Regional Synod of the Great Lakes. If you are interested in following along, updates from Synod will be available  on the RCA website here: https://www.rca.org/about/government/general-synod/

CAMP ZION:  Camp Zion will begin in just over a week.  We have 45 children registered to join us this summer.  If you are interested in volunteering at camp or providing snacks for our campers there are sign-up sheets on the Camp Zion bulletin board in the hallway across from the drinking fountain. Also please check out our Camp Zion Amazon Wish List.  This will be updated often between now and the start of camp as new projects and activities are added into the schedule.  We sure would appreciate your help providing new toys and craft items for our campers to enjoy.

SUMMER is a great time to try out new ways to serve at Zion! It is also the time of year that people who are looking for a church home tend to visit and we want them to feel welcomed! We all know that first impressions are important! Our First Impressions Team needs volunteers to make coffee, serve as an usher, greeter, or help at the child check-in station. All of these tasks are very easy, require minimal time commitment and you can pick your own schedule! Click here to sign up through Sign-Up-Genius or call Connie in the church office at 616-534-7533 ext. 3 and she can help you with scheduling! To sign up to provide cookies please contact Debbie Coke at (269) 680-5490.
